Which AI Visibility Tools Offer City-Level Tracking, Client Dashboards, and On-Demand Refreshes?

Few tools do all three well, so expect to combine two. For city-level tracking, Local Falcon samples AI answers across a map grid, BrightLocal and Yext Scout track each location, Semrush's Position Tracking can be set to a city or ZIP code, and PromptWatch's Business plan includes state and city tracking. For client dashboards, Peec AI's agency plans and AgencyAnalytics lead. For on-demand refreshes, credit-based tools such as Local Falcon and Rankscale let you run a check whenever you choose. Kovmere, which is our product, does not offer any of the three in that form: it measures one market per site on a fixed schedule and, on Agency Portfolio, shares results through white-label PDFs and client share links. We include it so the comparison is complete.

What do the three features actually mean?

City-level tracking. AI answers to "best dentist near me" or "roofer in Plano" depend on location. City-level tracking runs the same questions as if asked from a specific city, or from many points across a map, so a business sees where it is named and where it is not.

Client dashboards. A login or shared view where a client sees their own results, ideally branded with the agency's name, without the agency sending files.

On-demand refreshes. The ability to re-run checks whenever you want, rather than waiting for the next scheduled reading, useful after fixing a listing or before a client meeting.

Which tool is best for each feature?

Best for city-level detail: Local Falcon. Each map point is a separate AI query, so a business sees whether answers name it across a whole service area. It suits roofers, plumbers and multi-location brands where distance matters.

Best for client dashboards: Peec AI or AgencyAnalytics. Peec gives clients their own logins and view-only dashboards built on its AI data; AgencyAnalytics wraps AI tracking into a branded portal alongside SEO, ads and analytics.

Best for on-demand checks: credit-based tools. Local Falcon and Rankscale charge per check, so you can run one after a fix without waiting for a schedule, as long as you watch the credits.

What about Kovmere?

Kovmere is built differently. Each site is read for one market with US settings on up to 20 buyer questions, three times per engine in a baseline at the start of each billing period, with single-run re-tests in weeks two to four on Pro. Agencies receive white-label PDF reports and client share links on Agency Portfolio, at $129 a month for three client sites plus $39 per extra site, with drafted fixes for every site. It does not run city grids, give clients their own dashboard logins or let you trigger a fresh reading whenever you like; the one exception is a free re-run for an engine that failed to respond during a measurement.

Agencies that need those features can pair a grid or dashboard tool with Kovmere for the in-depth reading and the fixes.

How should an agency combine tools?

  1. Use a grid tool for local clients whose visibility varies across a service area.
  2. Use a dashboard tool if clients expect to log in, and feed it the metrics they care about.
  3. Use an in-depth reading for the questions closest to each client's revenue, so you can show the answers and the fixes, not just the score.
  4. Report methods separately, because grid samples, daily prompts and baseline readings measure different things.

More on agency reporting is in AI monitoring tools with white-label reporting for agencies, and on local tracking in simple AI visibility monitoring tools for local businesses.

What does city-level tracking cost in practice?

Credits make grid tracking flexible but easy to overspend. Ten keywords on a 7×7 grid of 49 points, on three AI platforms, scanned weekly, uses roughly 6,400 credits a month, which fits Local Falcon's $24.99 Starter plan with little to spare; double the keywords or the grid and you need the next plan. Per-location tools are simpler to budget: BrightLocal charges per location, and AgencyAnalytics charges one AI credit for each prompt, location, engine and weekly check. For an agency with ten local clients, the difference between these pricing models can be several hundred dollars a month, so price the real setup before committing.

What should you check before buying for these features?

  • How "city" is simulated. Some tools set a location per query; grid tools sample many points; others set only a country.
  • How credits are consumed. A 49-point grid on three engines for ten keywords uses thousands of credits a month.
  • Whether dashboards are white-label and whether clients can see only their own data.
  • Whether on-demand checks are included or extra.
  • Which engines are covered at the city level, since some tools localise only some engines.

What are the limits of city-level tracking in general?

Location settings approximate what someone in that city would see; they cannot capture a signed-in user's personal history or exact device location. Results also vary from run to run, so a single grid scan is a snapshot rather than a verdict. No tool can guarantee that a business will be recommended in a particular area.

What do people ask about these features?

Does any tool do city-level, dashboards and on-demand in one place?

PromptWatch lists city tracking on its Business plan and a client portal on its separate agency tier, so ask whether one contract covers both. Otherwise, combine a grid tool, a dashboard and an in-depth reading.

Is city-level tracking necessary for every local business?

No. A business serving one neighbourhood can learn most of what it needs from a handful of local questions asked for its city.

How often should on-demand refreshes be used?

After a meaningful change, such as fixing a listing or publishing a page, and allowing time for engines to pick it up. Frequent re-runs mostly show normal variation.

Can clients see Kovmere results without a login?

Yes, through client share links and white-label PDFs on Agency Portfolio.
