Refunds
Last updated 2026-09-06. Version 1.0.
- Delivery, defined. Report usually within 20 minutes, at most 24 hours, once a scan can actually run. A login wall, an incorrect domain, or a third-party engine outage stops a scan from running at all — when that happens, we tell you what to fix and give you a re-run free first, rather than starting the 24-hour clock on a scan that could not have succeeded anyway. Once a scan is actually able to run and our system still does not produce a report with the agreed questions and engines within 24 hours of that, you are refunded in full — that promise is about a failure of our system, not an invitation to try again for no reason.
- We guarantee delivery, not results. We do not guarantee that your brand gains a ranking, a mention, a citation, traffic or sales. We guarantee that the scan runs by the method the page describes and delivers the stated number of questions, engines and report files. That is the whole promise, and we do not dress it up as an unconditional "however you feel about it" refund: it is a specific deliverable, refundable when we miss it.
- A scan that falls short is made right, in proportion to how far short it fell. If a paid scan fails outright, or finishes with fewer than half its promised samples, you get a new scan token or a full refund — your choice. If it finishes with at least half its promised samples but still materially short of the stated number of questions, engines, or report files, you get a free re-run or a partial refund reflecting the shortfall — again your choice. Tell us which.
- One-time purchases (the $29 Check, the $99 Fix Pack): refund on request within 7 days if the report or pack did not deliver what the pricing page describes. Because the engine and model costs are incurred the moment a scan runs, repeated purchase-and-refund is not allowed. This 7-day window is in addition to, and does not replace or shorten, any refund or cancellation right that applicable law already gives you and that this policy cannot waive.
- Subscriptions and the Agency plan: cancel any time from the billing link in your receipt — the same link is on your reports page at /my — or by contacting us if that link does not work. The current period stays active to its end and is not refunded pro rata, and re-tests scheduled for that period still run; we do not bill you again after you cancel. This does not limit any statutory cancellation right this policy is not allowed to override.
- Credits (the Check's $29 toward a Fix Pack, the Fix Pack's $99 toward a first subscription payment) are discounts applied at checkout. If a purchase that consumed a credit is refunded, the credit is refunded with it as part of the amount you actually paid; a credit is never paid out as cash on its own.
- An engine we could not run is on us: if a tier promises two engines and only one was available, we say so before you pay and again on your receipt, and we will re-run the scan when the second is back, or refund the difference. The difference is the price you paid divided by the number of engines the tier promises, for each engine that did not run — on a two-engine tier where one engine ran, that is half the price, and your receipt prints the exact figure for your own order. If the missing engine is not back and merged into your report within 30 days of your purchase, that refund is yours for the asking and we will not ask you to justify it. If losing that engine also drops your scan below half its promised samples, the graduated remedy above applies instead — a new scan token or a full refund, your choice.
- "The numbers did not go up" is not a refund reason — we never promised they would, and we say so on every page. Tell us anyway. A scan that measured nothing useful is a product problem we want to hear about, and it is the fastest way for this to get better.
- If you are located outside the United States, some jurisdictions give digital-service buyers additional cancellation or withdrawal rights beyond what is written above. Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the law of where you live that we are not permitted to waive; contact us through /contact if you believe that applies to your purchase.
To ask for any of the above, reply to your receipt email or use /contact.
