Which Tools Track a Brand's Product Cards in ChatGPT Shopping?

A growing group of tools tracks a brand's product cards in ChatGPT Shopping at the product level. Peec AI's Shopping Analytics matches your catalogue against ChatGPT's shopping answers and reports visibility, win rate, position and the price the answer quotes, product by product. Goodie offers SKU-level commerce visibility on its Pro plan. PromptWatch's Business plan adds shopping insights, and enterprise platforms such as seoClarity, Profound, Evertune and Semrush Enterprise track AI shopping results too. Most other AI visibility tools, including Kovmere, which is our product, work at brand level: whether answers name your store or brand and which pages they cite, not which product card appears.

What does product-card tracking involve?

When ChatGPT answers a shopping question, it can show product cards with images, prices, merchants and review summaries, drawn from product feeds and pages it can read. Tracking them means recording, for a set of shopping questions:

  • Which products appear, and whether yours is among them.
  • Their position, including whether yours is the first recommendation.
  • The price shown, and whether it matches your catalogue.
  • Where the card sends shoppers: your store, a marketplace or a retailer.
  • Which attributes the answer compares, such as size, material or compatibility.

That requires matching the cards to your catalogue, which is why few general trackers do it.

Which tool fits which store?

A Shopify or direct-to-consumer brand that wants product-level data on ChatGPT: Peec AI's Shopping Analytics, which can import a Shopify storefront, a CSV or a Google Merchant Center feed and updates daily.

A larger brand selling across marketplaces and assistants: Goodie's Pro plan, which extends SKU-level tracking to shopping assistants as well as general models.

An enterprise retailer already on an SEO platform: seoClarity's ArcAI, sold standalone or within its suite.

A store that first wants to know whether it is named at all: a brand-level tool. Kovmere shows whether five engines name your store for your category's shopping questions, which product, review and retailer pages they cite instead, and drafts fixes for your product and collection pages from facts already on your site. It does not read product cards, prices in cards or feed status.

How can you check product cards by hand?

  1. Write 20 shopping questions the way buyers ask, with needs and constraints: "waterproof hiking boots for wide feet under $150".
  2. Ask each in ChatGPT three times in clean, unpersonalised sessions.
  3. Record the cards: product, merchant, price, position and where each links.
  4. Compare with your catalogue: missing products, wrong prices, cards pointing to resellers.
  5. Repeat monthly with the same questions.

It is slow but free, and it shows exactly what a shopper sees on a given day. Our guide to diagnosing product feed gaps in ChatGPT Shopping with manual searches walks through it.

Which shopping questions should you track?

Product cards appear most for questions that ask for products, not information. Build the set from:

  • Need plus constraint: "standing desk for a small apartment under $400".
  • Comparison of types: "memory foam vs hybrid mattress for side sleepers".
  • Gift and occasion questions: "gift for a runner who has everything".
  • Replacement and compatibility: "replacement filter for a Brand X model Y".
  • Best-of questions in your category, kept separate from brand-name questions.

Leave out questions that name your brand; they will show your products whether or not shoppers would find them.

What should you do with product-card data?

  • Missing products: check that they are in the feed with complete titles, attributes and identifiers, and that the product page states the same facts.
  • Wrong prices: align the feed, the product page and any structured data, and check resellers listing old prices.
  • Cards pointing to resellers: make your own product page the clearest source, and check whether resellers are cited because their pages carry more reviews or detail.
  • Low position: look at what the higher cards share, such as more reviews, clearer use-case descriptions or coverage in roundups.

Change one thing at a time where you can, and note the date, so the next reading tells you which change mattered.

What affects whether your product cards appear?

  • Google Shopping presence: studies of ChatGPT's carousels found most of their products also appear in Google Shopping data, so a complete Merchant Center feed matters.
  • Crawler access: product pages that OpenAI's search crawler cannot fetch give the cards less to draw on, so check access before rewriting copy.
  • Feed eligibility and completeness: titles, attributes, identifiers and prices that match your pages.
  • Reviews and ratings on your site and on retailers the answers trust.
  • Third-party coverage: roundups and comparison articles that mention your products.
  • Clear product pages that state what the product is for and who it suits.

Product-level tools show the result; the fixes are usually in the feed, the product pages and the third-party coverage.

What are the limits of product-card tracking?

Shopping answers reshuffle from run to run, so any single reading is a snapshot. Tools that read ChatGPT's interface show what a typical signed-out shopper sees, not a signed-in user with history. Coverage is mostly ChatGPT for now. And no tool can guarantee that your products will be shown or recommended.

Kovmere's limits here are specific: brand level only, one market per site, API sampling rather than the ChatGPT interface, no product cards and no feed checks.

How do brand-level and product-level tracking work together?

Brand-level tracking tells you whether the text of an answer names your store and which sources it trusts; product-level tracking tells you which of your products appear in the cards. A 2026 study of more than 800,000 ChatGPT product cards found they come from a product search that runs separately from the text answer, so a store can appear in cards without being named in the text, and the reverse. A store named in the text whose best sellers never appear in cards usually has a feed or product-page problem; a store whose products show in cards but whose name never appears in the text usually lacks the reviews and roundups the text draws on. If shopping questions matter to you, check both, by hand or with one tool of each kind.

What do people ask about tracking ChatGPT product cards?

Does any tool track product cards on Gemini or Perplexity?

Product-level shopping tracking is mostly focused on ChatGPT today; Goodie extends SKU-level tracking to more models on its Pro plan.

Can I see the price ChatGPT quotes for my products?

Peec AI's Shopping Analytics reports the mentioned price against your catalogue price.

Does Kovmere track product cards?

No. It works at brand level, showing whether your store is named and which pages are cited, and drafts fixes for your product pages.

How often should product cards be checked?

Weekly or monthly on fixed questions is enough for most stores; daily data helps large catalogues spot sudden changes. Check again soon after a feed update, a price change or a product launch, since those are the moments cards most often go wrong.
