Jasper GEO Agent Review: Enterprise AI Search Visibility Features
Jasper's GEO Agent and GEO Hub, launched in June 2026, connect AI visibility tracking to Jasper's content platform. The Hub scores your brand presence, citation rate, sentiment and share of voice across AI platforms, then ranks what to fix. The Agent acts on those rankings. It creates new content, updates existing pages or responds where competitors are cited, all in your approved brand voice. Its strength is governed execution for large marketing teams that already produce a lot of content. Its weaknesses are unclear engine coverage, composite scores that hide detail, and pricing only by quote on the Business plan. It suits enterprises that want monitoring and content production in one governed system, more than teams that mainly need measurement.
What is the Jasper GEO Agent?
Jasper describes the GEO Agent as an autonomous engine that analyses how your brand appears in AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. It identifies where you are misrepresented, under-represented or outranked, and runs the workflows to respond. It can also coordinate Jasper's other agents, such as research and translation. The GEO Hub is where your team sees the data and directs the Agent. Jasper frames the two as a loop of four stages:
- Monitor: presence, citations, sentiment and share of voice across AI platforms.
- Decide: Jasper's Decision Intelligence ranks opportunities by projected impact.
- Act: the Agent runs one of three workflows.
- Measure: results feed into the next monitoring cycle.
What does the GEO Hub measure?
Five scores, per Jasper's launch post:
- Overall Score: one headline figure combining presence, citation rate and sentiment.
- Brand Presence Score: how often your brand appears when AI is asked about topics you should own.
- Citation Rate Score: how often AI cites your content as a source.
- Brand Sentiment Score: how AI characterises your brand.
- Share of Voice: your position against competitors, by topic and by AI model.
Separating presence from citation rate is sound, since the two often move differently. The headline Overall Score is convenient for executives but hides which part changed, so ask for the underlying measures and the answers behind them in every report. Jasper also offers a free GEO Diagnostic that gives a quick score before any purchase.
What do Originate, Optimize and Outrank do?
- Originate creates new content on high-intent topics where your brand has little or no AI presence.
- Optimize updates existing content to be easier for AI to use, improving structure, freshness and signals that help it be cited.
- Outrank finds where competitors are cited instead of you and produces targeted responses to win back share of voice.
All three run inside Jasper, using Jasper IQ, the layer that holds your brand voice, style guide, product knowledge and governance rules. That is the main difference from standalone trackers: the output is content drafted to your standards, ready for review. Jasper has also announced an integration with Semrush to bring SEO data into this work.
What does it cost?
Jasper's Pro plan costs $69 per seat a month, or $59 billed yearly, with a seven-day trial. It includes Jasper's Canvas, agents for core marketing workflows and limited brand customisation. The GEO Agent sits on the Business plan, priced by quote, which adds agents for complex workflows including GEO, translation and deep research, a no-code agent builder, unlimited brand and knowledge settings, API access, governance controls and account management. Expect an enterprise contract.
A note on the "60%" figure
Jasper's GEO materials say AI misrepresents brands 60% of the time, citing Columbia University. The best-known Columbia study on this, by the Tow Center for Digital Journalism in March 2025, tested eight AI search tools on 1,600 queries about news articles and found them collectively wrong on more than 60% of queries, mostly about which source published a story. It did not measure how AI describes brands. AI does get brand facts wrong, and tests of local businesses have found errors often, but treat the 60% figure as borrowed from a different question. The general accuracy problem is covered in whether Semrush, Ahrefs or Moz can detect hallucinations.
How should you review what the Agent drafts?
Agent-drafted content is only as good as the editing behind it. A simple review standard keeps quality up:
- Check every fact against your product records, especially prices, features and compliance claims.
- Add something only you know, such as customer data, expert quotes or test results, since AI answers favour original information.
- Keep one owner per page who approves changes and answers for accuracy.
- Limit volume to review capacity. If editors cannot read a draft properly, do not publish it that week.
Where does it fall short?
- Engine coverage is described as "leading AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude". Ask for the full list, including Google's AI Overviews, AI Mode and Perplexity.
- Prompt method and frequency are not published: how many prompts, how often, and whether answers come from consumer apps or APIs.
- Composite scores need the underlying data to be trusted.
- Autonomous content needs review. Large volumes of lightly edited AI text can breach Google's policy on scaled content abuse and rarely add the original information that earns citations.
- No public Business pricing.
We have not tested the GEO Agent ourselves; this review is based on Jasper's published pages.
How does it compare?
Closest in approach are Writesonic, which pairs tracking with AI articles at published prices, and AirOps, which builds content workflows on AI search data. Enterprise SEO platforms such as Conductor and BrightEdge also add agents. More is in the Writesonic GEO review and Conductor vs Scrunch.
Who is it for?
- Good fit: enterprise marketing teams already using Jasper for content, with brand governance needs and the editors to review agent output.
- Reasonable fit: content-heavy B2B teams that want to act quickly on AI visibility gaps.
- Poor fit: teams that mainly need independent measurement, or small teams without editing capacity.
What should you ask in a demo?
- Which engines are tracked, how often, and how answers are collected.
- How many prompts are included and who designs them.
- What goes into the Overall Score, and can we see each answer behind it?
- What the Agent can publish without approval, and how changes are logged.
- How impact is measured: can we compare pages the Agent changed with similar pages it did not?
- What the Business plan costs for our seats, brands and markets.
What might this look like in practice?
Consider an illustrative cybersecurity vendor, Northwatch Security, already using Jasper for campaigns. The GEO Hub showed a low citation rate for "zero trust for small businesses", where two competitors' guides were cited. Outrank drafted a comparison-focused guide in Northwatch's voice, and Optimize proposed updates to three older articles. Editors added customer data and an engineer's review before publishing. The next monitoring cycles showed the new guide cited in some ChatGPT and Gemini answers, while the older articles changed little.
